Our DoctorsDrs. Wayne and Julie Scott were married shortly after graduating from dental school in 1989. They currently reside in Coppell where they practice together and have raised two children. Currently, they have one daughter in college and a son in high school.

Drs. Wayne and Julie Scott continue to take advanced training in various aspects of cosmetic dentistry such as, veneers, bonding, all ceramic and implant crowns, as well as same day E4D crowns. Also, they have had special training in Sports Dentistry since they are the team dentist for the Dallas Cowboys Football Team and the Dallas Stars Hockey Team. Drs. Wayne and Julie Scott have been providing dental care and custom mouth guard fabrication for the Dallas Cowboys Football Team since 1990. Furthermore, the doctors have been providing rink side dental care to the Dallas Stars Hockey Team during games to treat dental injuries as well as providing custom mouth guards, including Under Armour mouth guards, since 1994. They are also members of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and the Dallas County Dental Society.


Wayne Scott, D.D.S., P.A.

Dr. Wayne Scott was born in Calgary, Canada. After growing up in countries such as Canada, England and the Middle East, his family settled in Houston, Texas. Dr. Wayne received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry at Texas A&M University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry where he met his wife, Dr. Julie Scott.

Drs. Wayne and Julie Scott began their practice together in 1990 and have resided in Coppell since. They have two children who are both attending college.

Dr. Wayne is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, Academy for Sports Dentistry and the Spear Faculty Club. Drs. Wayne and Julie Scott both continue to take advanced training in various aspects of cosmetic dentistry such as veneers, bonding, all ceramic and implant crowns, as well as same day E4D crowns. Furthermore, they are the team dentist for the Dallas Cowboys Football Team and the Dallas Stars Hockey Team. They have been providing dental care and mouth guard fabrication for the Dallas Cowboys since 1990 and the Dallas Stars since 1993. In addition, many of our patients will see them at both Stars and Cowboys games providing game coverage for emergencies.

When Dr. Wayne is not caring for his patients, he enjoys golfing, fly fishing, cycling, working out and watching his son play hockey.


Julie Scott, D.D.S., P.A.

Dr. Julie Scott was born and raised in Fayetteville, NC and moved to Texas in 1980 to attend dental hygiene school. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Baylor College of Dentistry Caruth School of Dental Hygiene. After graduating valedictorian of her class, she was encouraged to further her education in dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Baylor College of Dentistry where she graduated with special recognition in Periodontics.

Drs. Wayne and Julie Scott began their practice together in 1990 and have resided in Coppell since. They have two children who are both attending college.

Dr. Julie has taken extensive continuing education courses with Frank Spears, some of which include TMJ and how to reconstruct worn dentition including veneers. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, Academy for Sports Dentistry and the Spear Faculty Club. Drs. Wayne and Julie Scott both continue to take advanced training in various aspects of cosmetic dentistry such as veneers, bonding, all ceramic and implant crowns, as well as same day E4D crowns. Furthermore, they are the team dentist for the Dallas Cowboys Football Team and the Dallas Stars Hockey Team. When Dr. Julie is not take care of her patients, she enjoys gardening, photography, playing the piano, fitness activities and attending football and hockey sporting events.


Andrea Sauerwein, D.D.S.

Dr. Andrea Sauerwein was born and raised in Nederland, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Sciences. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, where she was involved with multiple organizations, including serving as her class Vice President.Upon graduation she completed a one year General Practice Residency (GPR) at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. This additional training provided her with hands-on opportunity for a variety of procedures including treatment planning, basic restorative treatment, removable and fixed prosthodontics, endodontic therapy, surgical procedures, dental rehabilitation for those with special needs, and proper management of acute dental infections.

Dr. Andrea is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (National Dental Honor Society).

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Andrea enjoys exploring the outdoors, running, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Andrea is thrilled to be working with a passionate group of dental professionals, as well as with each and every patient.
